Born 1949 in Sweden.

Piano studies with Robert Riefling and Hans Leygraf in Denmark, Norway and Germany. Hans Pålsson was graduated as soloist at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Hannover, Germany in 1972.

Concerts in more than 20 countries.

Soloist with conductors like Rafael Frübeck de Burgos, Evgenij Svetlanov, Sixten Ehrling, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Okko Kamu, Neeme Järvi, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Mario Venzago, Paavo Berglund.

Recipient of prizes, awards and the Royal Medals Litteris et Artibus and För Tonkonstens Främjande.
2012 The Gerard Manley Hopkins Society Achivement Award in Ireland.

Dedicatee of more than 60 solo pieces and piano concertos.

Principal piano teacher and professor at Lunds University since 1987.
Among Hans Pålsson´s students are winners of international piano competitions in Europe and USA.
Juror at international piano competitions and guest professor at conservatoires.

CD recordings of music by 50 composers, and TV series.

Member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
