Rules and regulations

• The Malmö Yamaha Piano Competition, MYPC, is open for pianists age 7 to 30 years. The participant must be no more than 30 years old on May 12, 2021

• The participant may apply for the competition if:

  • one has a citizenship in a Nordic country

  • has permanent residency in any of the Nordic countries

  • or is an exchange / guest student at a music institution in any of the Nordic countries.

• Repertoire peformed in Round 1 can not be repeated in Round 2

• All repertoire has to be performed by heart

• The decision of the jury can not be appealed
